And LGP's will not float in gravel either. LGP's are not any harder on the rails if you drive them with some cents or it will cost dollars. You be nice to that 6way blade, don't go trying to dig out big trees or push heavy things-it will mess expensive things up. Looks like an eight roller undercarriage. make sure you grease that grease zerk for the crossbeam pivot pin, or the pin will seize up, break the head off and work its way out of the crossbeam and that wasnt that much fun to fix that one in the field. Glad to see your hood looks just like ours, that grey paint must be junk. LGP is nice in mud because the float about anywhere but they are harder on undercarriage because you are twisting that much more pad every time you turn and it takes more power to turn also. when it is a series 2 they also changed the handle and how you changed speeds compared to the early ones. Series 2 was some updates they did, IIRC the main update was electronics and some transmission. WXLT - W= intermediate pad width ( not the narrowest tracks and not the widest LGP pads ) XLT= one more roller longer undercarriage. You just aquired some more friends in the neghborhood. I know somebody that had a six way blade and it was always breaking. Had to do the pumps and I am sure I will have to do the drive motors. Good luck I bought a 850C this spring and boy am I getting an education. How can that get lost? might have to fab one. What I really need is the left front track adjuster cover. Doesn't seem like that 2 inches would be worthwhile but I saw a lot of them like that. Evidently just removing the bits gets you down under 12 feet for transport. I think that picture was taken after they hauled it in to the yard. Looks like you just need an end bit and you can go to work. The undercarriage looks pretty good from the pics. Make sure you keep all the trunnions on the blade greased and shimmed up and they will last a long time. Good solid machines that will move a lot of dirt. Been 5 years or so since I was at the dealership. The biggest one that I can think of right now is the ground speed control being moved up to the steering handle and some other steering upgrades. The series II machines had a lot of electrical upgrades. more questions.ĭid you get my email? I sent it to your gmail account.
